Coco Der Mer at the Red Lion voucher information
Your voucher is for dining at Coco de Mer Restarant at the Red Lion, value £40. (Note: Not to be used on Theme Nights)
Coco de Mer Restaurant was opened in November of 2006 once the Red Lion Pub was refurbished. We have a range of dishes for you to choose from in this menu and we also have a number of daily specials that can be found on the board in the restaurant.
The restaurant takes its name from the coco nuts that are found on the Island of Praslin in Seychelles. The coco nuts are naturally grown in the shape of male and female …………... As you enter the restaurant you will be able to see what they actually look like. The prints and painting represent the leaves and the trees in Valley De Mer where the nuts are grown. It takes approximately 25 years for a tree to mature. The male and female nut are grown on different trees and legend has it that they mate on a full moon. The female nut is the only edible one.
All our dishes are prepared fresh and cooked on the premises using local suppliers. This may cause a small delay in your food being served at busy times. We appreciate your understanding and are confident the taste and quality is worth the short wait.
